The Preston Township Board of Supervisors, 1515 Crosstown Hwy., Lakewood, PA
is seeking sealed bid proposals for purchase of the former O & W Railroad Depot at 1439 Crosstown Hwy in the village of Lakewood.  Bid package may be downloaded from our website, www.prestontownship.org or picked up in the Township office after April 13, 2023.  All bids must be in the Preston Township office by 8:45am on May 4th.    Bids will be opened at the May 4th meeting at 9am. 
 
Subject property consists of a two story wood frame structure circa 1900. Structure has wood exterior siding, composition shingle and slate roof; stone and pier foundation.
 
First floor was previously occupied as district magistrate office. There is a front entry area, half bath, lobby area and rear private office space with side exterior entry. Second floor has interior access to second floor
 
Second floor also has exterior access and consists of half bath, and three former office rooms. Panel type interior walls.
 
Property is two acres, with driveway, on-lot septic with metal tank with drain field. Heating system is baseboard hot water system.

 be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Township Municipal Building to
review a proposed ordinance to permit as an accessory use, accessory solar energy systems
(ases), by right in all and permit as a principal use, principal solar energy systems (pses), by
right in Preston Township. A draft copy of the proposed ordinance will be available for review at the Township Office, Lakewood the day after publication of this legal ad. By law a draft copy of the ordinance will be available at the Hancock Herald Office for review the day after publication.
